It’s Sunday, August 9 and I am excited to unveil my new mattblanchette.com website!
However, while my own website faded away into obscurity, I was learning to build websites with increasingly advanced functionalities and feature sets for my clients. I quickly realized the value that high-performance, easy-to-use membership and e-commerce websites offered a business’s customers. Transactions were fast and transparent, easily documented for later reference, and content of all kinds could be made available automatically and dynamically to users on both an individual and segmented basis.
While I continued to hone my skills over the next few years, I would sometimes think about the benefits of applying my new knowledge to my own website and digital presence. Finally I bit the bullet (3 years later) and have re-built my website on a WordPress system utilizing WooCommerce, Memberium, Stripe and Infusionsoft for managing simple and secure online payments that are always available for quick reference in my client’s user account portals (not lost in tens of thousands of emails!) and quick, automated communication that saves both me and my clients’ time.
In the near future I intend to add new features like a meeting scheduler and document sharing to further enhance the value my site offers my clients. Features that would have daunted me before migrating over to WordPress and its impressive selection of specialized, high performance plugins.
